The mission of the San Benito County Treasurer-Tax Collector-Public Administrator's Office is to provide quality service in performing the duties of this office which includes; receiving, investing, safeguarding and providing full accountability for all monies belonging to the county and all other money directed to it by state law.
The Treasurers Office operates as the Counties bank and provides banking and investment services for all pool participants. The County, School Districts and Special Districts.
All public financing is coordinated through the Treasurer, including General Obligation Bonds for the School Districts and Juvenile Hall.
The safekeeping of these assets requires the receipt of all monies for deposit, maintenance of accurate records, and cash flow projections to meet daily liquidity and investing of monies in the pooled cash portfolio.
