Recology offers San Benito County residents Environmental Day events six times a year. These events offer secure document shredding, electronic waste recycling and free compost. Click here for an e-waste acceptance list and upcoming event details.

E-waste is accepted at the County’s quarterly Recycle Day events held in Hollister. These free events also offer household hazardous waste disposal, tire recycling, and mattress recycling. Annual event dates are available here.

Additionally, Recology San Benito County offers free curbside collection of bulky items (including e-waste) to residential customers two times each year. A maximum of 5 e-waste items can be placed at the curb per free pickup. Residents can arrange for curbside collection of bulky items at no additional cost. More information can be found here.
