San Benito County, CA
Home MenuSan Benito County Office of Emergency Services Training
The San Benito County Office of Emergency Services offers courses for all levels of emergency responders ranging from front line first responders such as firefighters and police officers to courses for elected officials. All county and city staff who are assigned to the San Benito County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) are also mandated to attend training events.
The Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS) is the cornerstone of California’s emergency response system and the fundamental structure for the response phase of emergency management. The system unifies all elements of California’s emergency management community into a single integrated system and standardizes key elements. SEMS, coupled with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) provides responders with the knowledge and tools to provide vital services to the public regardless of the emergency.
