District Attorney, Joel Buckingham

Elected in 2022, Joel Buckingham has been a prosecutor for over 16 years, working for over 11 years in San Bernardino County, and has been working for San Benito County since 2019.  In addition to being an attorney, he also has an inactive CPA license from work prior to prosecution. He graduated from University of California, San Francisco School of Law.

Assistant District Attorney,  Ellen Campos

Ellen Campos has over 25 years of prosecution experience working for the Santa Cruz District Attorney's Office and then with the San Benito County District Attorney's Office.  She also graduated from University of California, San Francisco School of Law.

Victim Witness Program Coordinator,  Patricia Salcedo

Patricia Salcedo is the Coordinator of the Victim Witness Assistance Program for the San Benito County District Attorney’s Office.  Prior to joining the DA’s Office, she has held positions with San Benito County Public Health in social work, health education and emergency planning. She holds a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Jose State University.
