BHSA Integrated Plan

In March 2024, California voted for Proposition 1 to enact the Behavioral Health Services Act to supersede the Mental Health Services Act, 2004. Under BHSA Guidance from the DHCS (Department of Healthcare Services), all CA Counties have written new Integrated Plans (IP) for Behavioral Health to meet the mandates of Proposition 1, due to commence July 1, 2026.

Below is the draft BHSA Integrated Plan for San Benito County that is currently undergoing review by the Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS) until the end of April 2026 and is therefore subject to change before the Final version, which will need to be approved by the San Benito County Board of Supervisors before submission in June 2026.
