UNION ROAD REHABILITATION PROJECT UPDATE
SATURDAY WORK APRIL 25, 2026

SAN BENITO COUNTY, CA - The County of San Benito is providing an additional update on the ongoing Union Road Rehabilitation Project.

To support continued progress, construction activities are scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work will include Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) microcracking operations as part of the roadway rehabilitation process.

This activity will involve limited equipment, consisting of rollers/compactors and traffic control only. No heavy equipment or haul trucks will be in operation, and traffic impacts are expected to be minimal.

Motorists should expect one-way traffic control with minor delays and are advised to use caution when traveling through the work zone, follow posted signage, and adhere to directions from construction personnel.

The Union Road Rehabilitation Project, which began on March 23, 2026, remains on schedule and is anticipated to be completed by June 26, 2026, weather permitting.

The County appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as work continues to improve roadway conditions, safety, and long-term infrastructure reliability.
